Little Crush is a co-ed learn-to-play lacrosse program for children ages 4 through 6 that introduces the exciting game of lacrosse in a safe and fun environment. U.S. Lacrosse certified coaches will teach basic lacrosse skills and stick work such as scooping ground balls, cradeling and passing and catching, through fun interactive play and activities with the players.
The players will also be introduced to small field play, including dodging, passing, and shooting the ball at the goal with appropriately sized sticks and goals. Participants need to be registered with USLacrosse. Cost is $30
Winter Clinic is especially for any age youth, boys and girls, who want to learn to play lacrosse. We teach basic stick skills, like passing and catching, ground balls, shooting and dodging, and work in fun games that keep the players interested and having fun, even if they've never picked up a stick before!
The clinic is held Monday evenings 5-6pm at Seacoast United Concord Indoor Sports, 10 Ferry St., Jan 21 through March 11th, and is open also to players who may have played before, and want to work on their skills and are willing to help develop new teammates!
Josh Dionne and Luke Duprey of Prep Star Lacrosse led two boys and two girls youth lacrosse clinics for Crush in October. These clinics were AWESOME! If you didn't take advantage of them this fall, you missed out on some great instruction by two NCAA national champions and a couple of the best players in NCAA DI history. But, we will have them back soon!
